RAC Telematics has revealed in a report that almost two thirds (65%) of all businesses surveyed currently utilise telematics devices – including black box and smartphone apps – in their vehicles when compared to 38% in 2015. The number of active fleet management systems deployed in commercial vehicle fleets in Australia and New Zealand will rise from 0.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2015 to 1.1 million by 2020, at a CAGR of 16%, according to the latest note from analyst firm Berg Insight.
